Hey! Look! It's another milestone!

That's right, ToG is seven years old today. In more sobering terms, that means I've been doing it for about 1/4 of my life. Um, wow.

What's next in store? Mostly wrapping up a lot of things, while slowly planning new projects. Nothing I'm about to talk about right now, mostly because they're still in concept stages. I'm relatively committed to following through on the idea, what with having a domain name locked up already...

As for wrapping things up, yeah, that's the long and short of it. All things must come to an end. At least, happily, I have a vision of how to end things, or at least a lot of things, so I don't have to rely on random energy vortexes appearing and eating everything. (Wait, doesn't that lead to spinoff ideas? Or further stories in the same main strip? Urgh...)

April 29, 2009 marks the 2000th comic for Tao of Geek.

That's... insane. Really. I've done 2000 of these things. That's... a LOT. Just... wow. I... yeah.

What CAN I say? Besides wow? ToG's a labour of love, that much is obvious. And at the same time, I've met some awesome people and gotten amazing support because of it. That's damn awesome. And I love it. Thank you all!

(And thank you Bengt for compiling the tally for me last year when I asked for one!)

So a few people were wondering why the comic disappeared. Well, I got hammered by a nasty cold that left me in less than tip-top shape. Work was out of the question, the comic was out of the question, stuff like that. So I took a few days to recuperate. I'm still not 100%, but I'm better than I was on Saturday. Which is good! Yay!

And from the title, I bet a lot of you can guess I've seen the Big Bang Theory. We've borrowed the first season DVD from some friends and have been OD'ing on it. Amusingly, we saw the episode referenced just this week, leading us to comment that neither of us are that bad when sick.
